The Morris Community Emergency Radio Network (MCERN) is developing a resilient, decentralized radio network, integrating both Amateur Radio and GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) systems. This blended network ensures reliable, two-way communication when conventional systems, like cellular networks, are unavailable.
MCERN collaborates with local volunteers, emergency services, and agencies to maintain vital communication pathways. We prioritize training, regular drills, and continuous operations to ensure readiness during emergencies.
